    Lauren Brougham Glennon was born and raised in the Beverly Community, located on the south side of Chicago. She is the daughter of a Chicago Policeman and the wife of a Chicago Firefighter. Lauren attended Christ the King Grammar School and St. Ignatius College Prep High School. She graduated Cum Laude, with a B.A. in Political Science, with a minor concentration in Sociology, from Winona State University in Minnesota. Lauren returned to Chicago to attend DePaul University College of Law.  

    While in law school,  Lauren was the elected liaison to the Chicago Bar Association and was the first extern from DePaul University College of Law to work for the City of Chicago's Law Department, Buildings and Land Use Litigation Division, where she was subsequently hired as a law clerk, earning her 7-11 law license, later becoming an Assistant Corporation Counsel. While working as a prosecuting attorney for the City of Chicago, Lauren handled a full-time heavy volume court call at the Daley Center, where her trial and motion practices helped her fine tune her litigation skills.

​    Lauren is now practicing law in the private sector. She is a Senior Associate with the law firm of Worsek & Vihon LLP, and concentrates in the complicated arena of Property Tax Law. Her daily duties include, brief and contract drafting, settlement negotiations, and appearances before the Circuit Court of Cook County, the Illinois Department of Revenue, and the Cook County Board of Review and many collar county tribunals.
